Simon Bogojević Narath, the art director of the progressive Bonobo studio from Zagreb that is engaged in production and distribution of animated and experimental films, will be one of the representatives of contemporary Croatian animation. The studio was founded in 2008 after the end of the Kenges studio that had successfully functioned in this field for almost ten years.

Simon Bogojević Narath will personally present three of his most interesting films at the festival. They are impresive not only for the list of festivals and prizes they have been awarded, but particularly for their view of reality and animation. Therefore you should not miss a plastic little cat in the whirl of a big city (Plasticat), a dreamlike parallel of a hunter and a businessman (Morana), and existentially controversial adaptation of a book of Thomas Hobbes, a philosopher and political scientist (Leviathan).

Kenges and Bonobo studios aspire to support creativity and to discover new possibilities of animation and forms of expression of individual authors. To be assured about it, we can attend a presentation of their films, one of them being Veljko Popović's new movie She Who Measures, which criticizes consumer society. Together with Narath's films and a bonus of looking at semifinished projects it forms a diverse sample of creativity and uniqueness of the contemporary Croatian animation.
